Manish, the owner of the sweet shop, told Local 18 that his shop is about 20 years old. Sweets and Khaja are made at his shop throughout the year, but on special occasions like Teej, Vishwakarma Puja, Dussehra and Deepawali, crispy and delicious Gujiya is prepared with a mixture of khoya and dry fruits. Here, the price of Gujiya made from khoya is ₹280 per kg. While customers can also buy it at the rate of 10 rupees per piece. During the festive season, one quintal to 1.5 quintals of Gujiya are consumed at his shop.

Know how this special Gujiya is prepared
First of all, ghee is mixed in the flour and it is kneaded. Then, by adding little water, a soft dough is prepared and it is kept covered for some time. After that, finely chopped dry fruits and coconut powder are added. It is roasted on low flame for some time so that all the ingredients become uniform. After that, small balls are made from the kneaded flour and thin puris are prepared. After that, a mixture of dry fruits, coconut and khoya is placed and it is closed with a mold. It is fried in hot oil and served to the customer.

Shiv Chaudhary, who came to shop at the shop, said that nowadays making Gujiya at home is a long process. That is why he bought Khoya Gujiya from Manish Sweets because the taste of Gujiya here is very unique and delicious.
