One such unique sweet which reached India from Sindh province of Pakistan and became famous. The demand for this sweet is highest during the festival of Holi.

This special sweet has been being made for years at Amardeep Sweets in Indira Bazaar of Chardiwari Market, Jaipur. Deepak Kumar Gurdaswani, owner of Amardeep Sweets, says that this sweet which is most in demand on Holi is known as Jalebi Gihar. Which looks exactly like Jalebi but its size is bigger than Jalebi and the taste is also different.

Unique sweet reached India from Pakistan
Deepak Kumar, Owner of Amardeep Sweets explains. This sweet reached Jaipur from Sindh province of Pakistan during the time of our grandfather. Especially this sweet was made on Basant Panchami. But gradually it started being made on the festival of Holi and now this sweet is in highest demand on Holi. This sweet, which looks like Jalebi, is absolutely delicious in taste. The taste of this unique sweet remains intact for a long time. As the festival of Holi is approaching, the demand for this sweet has started increasing among the people.

Amazing sweets are prepared from desi ghee.
Deepak Kumar says that although this sweet is made by machines, the taste of sweets prepared by hands is the most delicious. Deepak Kumar tells that this sweet is prepared from flour. The flour is soaked a day before making the sweets and then the sweets are prepared the next day.

The demand for this sweet is highest in Jaipur and this sweet is made only at some places. The price of this sweet is Rs 300 per kg. Deepak Kumar tells that this sweet is especially liked by the people of Sindhi community because this sweet has reached India from Pakistan through their own ancestors.
