How to make restaurant-like delicious turmeric curry
Describing the recipe of turmeric curry available in big hotels and restaurants, local resident Durga Devi Paik said that she has been making turmeric curry for many years. She further explains that to make turmeric curry, first grate the turmeric seeds. After this, cut the onion into fine pieces and add desi ghee in the pan and heat it on medium flame. When the ghee melts, add grated raw turmeric and fry till it turns golden.

Now add peas in this ghee and fry them and take them out. After this, mix curd, red chilli powder and coriander powder and keep it aside. Then heat the remaining ghee again, add cumin, fennel and other spices and fry the spices for some time, then add finely chopped onion and fry. After the onion becomes soft and light brown, add ginger, garlic and green chillies and cook. After some time, add curd mixture and fry while stirring. Then let the curd mixture and spices cook for 3-4 minutes while stirring. After this, add fried turmeric and peas to it, and at last cover the pan and let the vegetable cook for 10 more minutes.
