How to make Kakoda sabzi

First of all, clean the Kakoras properly. After washing with water, soak it in water for some time. The shape of Kakoras is such that it has a lot of dust and dirt. Therefore, it is very important to clean it properly. Now cut these cleaned Kakoras. If the seeds of Kakoras appear ripe from inside i.e. red or orange in colour when cut with a knife, then remove these seeds. If the inside appears white when cut, then cut them like this. There is no need to remove the middle. Cut it lengthwise.

– Put 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan on the gas and fry the chopped pears. At this time keep the gas on high and keep stirring them with a spoon. While stirring, cook them lightly for 4 to 5 minutes. They will become soft by about 80%. Now take them out in a plate.

After this, add one more spoon of oil in the same pan. Now when the oil is hot, add half a spoon of cumin, fennel and nigella seeds. Adding nigella seeds will give a very good taste to the vegetable. If this is not there then you can also skip it.

After this, add chopped onions and 2 chopped green chillies in the pan. Fry them well. Fry the onions till they turn light pink.

Now add half a spoon of ginger garlic paste. Fry it a little and after that add salt, 1 spoon coriander, turmeric and red chilli powder. Add red chilli powder as per your taste.

– Roast this spice well. If your spice burns, you can add a spoon of water. Once the spice is roasted, add the kakodas to it and mix it well.

– Now cover this vegetable and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Finally, add half a spoon of dry mango powder and mix it well. Turn off the gas when the vegetable is cooked. Your super tasty and healthy Kakoda ki Sabzi is ready.
