Pneumonia is proving fatal for children during winter season. Three children died of pneumonia. All the children were declared dead by the doctor in the district hospital. As soon as the information about the death came, there was a wave of mourning among the family members. About 25 to 30 children suffering from pneumonia are coming to the district hospital every day. Even on January 6, three victims are admitted in the SNCU ward of the hospital. So far, 10 children who came for treatment in the district hospital have been declared dead.

Gaurav Pathak, resident of Suratpur, had a son after eight years of marriage. 10 month old innocent Rohit was suffering from pneumonia. When his condition worsened, his family brought him to the district hospital for treatment. Where the doctor declared him dead. Crying relatives took the dead body away. Here, one and a half month old Gulfam son Pappu Khan, resident of Gorai police station, Iglas district, Aligarh was also suffering from pneumonia.
