Tihar Jail administration has submitted the report related to the diet of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. Two days ago, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena had sought a report from the DG to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal within 24 hours.
The report said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was getting his treatment from a private clinic in Telangana. He did not show his medical report when asked. During the exam at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, he was advised to take folk medicine. There was no mention of insulin in this. In such a situation, there is no question of not giving insulin.
While demanding the report, the Lieutenant Governor had expressed serious concern over the reports based on the statements of Delhi ministers and AAP leaders. It was said in the report that Kejriwal was not being given insulin in jail. After this allegation, the Lieutenant Governor had asked the DG of the jail to submit a factual and comprehensive report. Also, he had said that the jail comes directly and completely under the Delhi government as a transferred subject. The Lieutenant Governor had assured that no laxity regarding the health of the CM would be tolerated.
