According to news agency ANI, he also reminded Rahul Gandhi of the results of the last election. TMC state general secretary also said that West Bengal is a democratic state and Congress can organize programs for its party but TMC is a party with a strong base in Bengal politics.

Kunal Ghosh said, “West Bengal is a democratic state and Congress is a separate party. Therefore they have their own rights. They can organize programs for their party. Rahul Gandhi will come and hold programs but Congress leaders should remember the bottom line of Bengal politics. “That baseline is the results of the 2021 assembly elections, when TMC defeated BJP.”
He further said, “Congress had contested the elections in alliance with the Left and other forces and what did they get, zero. Therefore, in this field, TMC itself is fighting against BJP and is also leading it. Rahul Gandhi should remember this.”
Second day of Rahul Gandhi’s visit
On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi’s Nyay Yatra resumed from Imphal West in Manipur on Monday (January 15), passing through Sekmai, then Kangpokpi and then Senapati in Manipur and will be stopped in Nagaland at night.
Earlier, on Sunday (January 14), he had started Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra from Thoubal district. This journey will cover a total distance of 6,713 km. Which includes 100 Lok Sabha constituencies, 337 assembly constituencies and 110 districts. Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra will end in Mumbai on March 20 after 67 days.
