On Thursday, in Aliganj police station area of Etah, a child sitting on a tractor parked in the courtyard of the house turned the key. The tractor standing in gear started running as soon as it started. The mother died while trying to save the child. While the grandmother is injured.
About 20 days ago, Pinky (23), resident of Nagla Tanda police station Jaithra, had come to her maternal home in village Purahar Bulakinagar of Aliganj police station area. Four year old son Prince was also there along with him. On Thursday morning around 10.30, Pinky and her mother Snehlata were busy in work. The Prince was made to sit on a tractor parked in the courtyard to play. The women did not notice that the key was attached to the tractor. Also it was standing in gear. While both the women were working, Prince somehow turned the key and the tractor started and started moving. Seeing this, Pinky and Snehlata ran to save the child. Due to the speed of the tractor, both of them got hit by it and the tractor ran over them. Due to which both of them got seriously injured.
Crushing both of them, the tractor went ahead and stopped after hitting the shutter and wall of the shop. Police station in-charge Aliganj Amit Kumar said that the relatives took both the injured to the community health center. Where Pinky was declared dead. His mother Snehlata has been referred to the medical college. A tractor wheel has passed over his hand. The child is completely safe.
In-laws took away the dead body of the woman
The police station in-charge told that Pinky’s in-laws’ house is in village Nagla Tanda of Jaithara police station area. As soon as the information was received, her husband Akash and other in-laws reached. They took the woman’s body and the child prince with them. Post-mortem of the deceased’s body was not done.
