Apart from this, UCC calls also bother people a lot.

To prevent fake calls and messages, TRAI has issued Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations-2018, in which an ecosystem based on blockchain has been created. This regulation asks all tele marketers to register on the DLT platform. Apart from this, within this, companies will have to take consent from the customer for various types of promotions on the time and day of his choice. This means that for messaging customers, it will be necessary to take approval from them. The message can be sent only on the day and time of their choice. The format of the message has also been decided.
