A presidential debate was held regarding the US presidential election. Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump were face to face for the first time for the debate. This is their only debate that they have scheduled and it is happening at a time when a tough competition is expected between the two.
This presidential debate took place on ABC News, during which Kamala Harris told the audience that former President Donald Trump basically sold us (America) out on matters to China.
Vice President Kamala Harris said that we have to focus on relationships with our allies and focus on investing in American-based technology so that we can win the AI, quantum computing race. We also have to focus on what needs to be done to support America’s workforce.
Kamala Harris blamed Donald Trump for the unemployment during the Corona epidemic. Harris quipped, “Let us tell you what Trump has left for us.” Vice President Harris said that Donald Trump has given us the worst unemployment since the Great Depression. Trump gave us the worst public health epidemic in a century. He has given us the biggest attack on our democracy since the Civil War. What we have done is to clean up Donald Trump’s mess.
Trump was no less than Harris in the debate… Donald Trump, in response to Kamala Harris, said that the country was affected by a pandemic, which was not seen since 1917. We did an unprecedented job with the pandemic, we gave a country whose economy and stock market were higher than before the pandemic.
Donald Trump also rejected the allegations that his suggestion to increase foreign tariffs will also increase consumer prices. He said that no prices will increase. The ones whose prices will increase are China and other countries that have been looting America for years.
Trump said that Joe Biden maintained Trump’s tariffs on China even after becoming president. He said we are going to take billions, hundreds of billions of dollars. I had no inflation and he probably had the highest inflation in the history of our country.
