Farmers are struggling for DAP fertilizer. DAP fertilizer is neither available in cooperative societies nor in private shops. At both the places, bags of granular DAV are being given only after taking Nano DAP. But, farmers do not like Nano DAP. This is the reason why the fertilizer crisis has increased. Experts say that Nano DAP is available in sufficient quantity. If farmers buy it, the fertilizer crisis will end. Farmers say that they are being forcibly given Nano DAP fertilizer, which is not suitable for them.
Most of the farmers do not know how to use it. Farmer Ramesh, resident of Kathauta village of Fatehpur district, says that the farmer does not like to take any kind of gambling for the crop. He asks what if Nano DAP is used at the time of sowing and the crop gets damaged? Who will compensate for this? At the same time, Fatehpur District Agriculture Officer Narottam Kumar says that by using Nano DAP and Urea as per the standards, farmers can get good yield at less expense.
