Ingredients required to make semolina kachori

To make semolina kachoris, take 1 cup semolina, boiled potatoes, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, ginger paste. Apart from this, kitchen spices include celery, asafoetida, turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli powder, dry mango powder, garam masala, fennel, crushed coriander seeds, cumin seeds. Finally, take oil as per requirement for frying and salt as per taste.

Easy recipe for making semolina shortbread

To make semolina kachoris with potato stuffing at home, take a pan. Now add 2-3 teaspoons of oil in it and heat it on low flame. Now add cumin seeds, coriander seeds and fennel and fry for some time. Then add chopped green chillies and ginger paste and mix and saute while stirring. After 1-2 minutes, add turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, dried mango powder and a pinch of asafoetida in the pan.

When the spices start giving out their aroma, mash the boiled potatoes and put them in a pan and mix them with the spices. Now add salt to it as per taste. Finally mix green coriander leaves and turn off the gas and take out the potato stuffing in a bowl. Now put 2 cups of water in a vessel and add celery, 1 teaspoon oil and a pinch of salt to it. When the water boils, slow down the flame of the gas and slowly add semolina (rawa) to the water. Now cover the vessel and let the semolina boil for 4-5 minutes on low flame. After this, put the cooked semolina in a big bowl and when it cools down, knead a soft and smooth dough by mashing it with hands.

When the dough is ready, take out a round shape dough and flatten it and press it from the edges to give it the shape of a bowl. Now fill potato stuffing in the middle and then close it from all sides. Then keep it between the palms and flatten it a little. Make all the rava kachoris in the same way.
