Shankar Banerjee, father of Balika Vadhu’s lead character Anandi i.e. Pratyusha Banerjee, has expressed deep grief over Tunisha Sharma’s suicide during a media interaction. In his statement, Shankar Banerjee said, “Till date I am seeking justice for my daughter’s death, people named my daughter’s death as suicide whereas it was murder.”
Hearing the news of Tunisha Sharma’s death, Shankar Banerjee says, “Tunisha was just 20 years old, just like Pratyusha, after all she had said goodbye to the world at this age. Pratyusha was trapped when she tried to come out of that trap. That she was murdered. Just like what happened with Tunisha Sharma a few days back. Tunisha has also been trapped and murdered.”
Shankar Banerjee said, “Nowadays any death in the industry is being named as suicide. Like happened in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput.” He said that if someone commits suicide, he will leave behind a note or such thing, so that after he leaves, his family or loved ones do not have to wander here and there in search of justice.
Pratyusha Banerjee’s family is hurt by Tunisha’s death
The late TV actress’s father said, “I and Pratyusha’s mother are deeply saddened to hear the news of Tunisha Sharma’s death. It is as if our old wounds have become fresh.
