Raj Premi had revealed in an interview that he had decided during his studies that he wanted to make his career in acting. In 1991, when Raj was in college, Ramanand Sagar gave him the role of Hiranyakashyap for the first time. Similarly, Raj started with the role of villain. While playing the role of Shishupal in Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Shri Krishna’, Raj Premi was offered the role of ‘Jai Hanuman’. The actor had told that it was Bhushan Jeevan who got him the job in ‘Jai Hanuman’. About 5-6 months after the interview, he got a call that he had been signed for the lead role of Hanuman. After this, Raj Premi did not look back and by becoming Hanuman, he entered everyone’s hearts.
