Musk has announced that the verification rules in place in Twitter have been abolished and the pre-existing blue ticks will be removed soon. Now blue tick will be given to any user only under the new blue tick subscription launched. Apart from this, golden tick will be given for business account and gray tick for government accounts. However, it is not yet known whether the $8 will have to be paid for business and government accounts.
