There has been a flood situation in Gujarat due to heavy rains for several days, due to which there have been many incidents of crocodiles entering human settlements in Vadodara. This has been seen more after the flood water receded. The government staff is now engaged in catching crocodiles along with relief work. And leaving them in a safe place so that there is no harm to both people and crocodiles. In such a situation, a video of Vadodara is going viral on social media, in which two people are taking a crocodile on a scooter.
The two men in the video appear to be government employees. But neither the driver nor the crocodile catcher is wearing a helmet. The caption of the video shared on the X platform reads, “The crocodile will also remember the joy of traveling on a two-wheeler. In fact, two youths are taking the crocodile caught from the Vishwamitra river to the forest department office,”
These two men, two Indian Medical Association (IMA) volunteers, are seen taking a crocodile to the forest department in Vadodara after it strayed out of its natural habitat. In the video, the crocodile is controlled by tying its mouth and legs with the help of a rope. According to reports, there are about 440 crocodiles in the Vishwamitri river and many of them moved into nearby residential areas due to the flooding caused by the release of water from the Ajwa dam.
