Mathura Kotwali Police has arrested two vicious criminals who were robbing women. Police have recovered from their possession the items looted from women in Kotwali and Highway police station areas, Rs 4750, pistol-cartridges and bike.

Kotwali in-charge inspector Devpal Singh Pundir said that on Sunday night, Bagh Bahadur outpost in-charge Mangeram and Dhauli Pyau outpost in-charge Kaushal Kishore were patrolling. Just then they saw two youths riding bikes going towards Railway Line Colony. Seeing the police, both of them started running. The police caught them. When asked for the documents of the bike, he got confused. The police brought both of them to the police station.
During interrogation here, they told their names as Anesh Kumar alias Ganesh, resident of Sausa village of Magorra, Pintu, resident of Shahpur. During the search, a pistol and cartridges were found from Anesh. On strict interrogation, he told the police that he had robbed the woman on December 26 in the Kotwali area. Earlier on December 29, Rs 4500, bags etc. were looted from a woman in the highway area. Inspector in-charge of the police station said that the police have recovered all the items of both the robberies from the accused. The police presented both of them in the court. From here he was sent to jail.
