Two wagons of a goods train carrying coal got derailed and collided with each other. Due to this, the engine also got derailed. The news of the accident near Bansi (Bina) on the railway track of the power project created panic in the power house management. Relief and rescue work has been started.
The incident took place in the Bansi area of Shaktinagar police station area at around 11 am. It is being told that coal for the Anpara Thermal Power Plant of UP government comes from NCL’s Khariya coal mine. After loading coal from the coal handling plant’s (CHP) silo in the morning, the goods train left for Anpara.
