After a dispute with her husband, the two-year old daughter of a live-in woman was taken away by her live-in friend in the Kamla Nagar police station area of Tajnagari Agra. The woman had a fight with her friend. In anger he took the daughter away. Boarded the train to Chennai. Also made a call with the help of a passenger on the way. Police are now searching for the accused. A team has been deployed to recover the girl.
The victim is originally from Bharatpur. He told the police that he was married 10 years ago. She had come to Agra six months ago due to differences with her husband and in-laws. She is also keeping her two year old daughter with her. Left two children with their mother.
He is friends with Rohit, a resident of Firozabad. She was living in a live-in relationship with Rohit. The house was taken on rent. Mother’s house is nearby. Both used to work as labourers. Recently, the health of his elder sister living in Govardhan had deteriorated. On this she wanted to go to see him, but Rohit was refusing to let her go. There was a fight between the two on this matter.
She was working at home on Monday. During this time, Rohit took away the daughter from her mother’s house. When no trace of him was found till evening, the police was informed. Rohit also called from the way, in which he also asked to pick up his daughter. I was saying that I will keep my daughter better than you. After this the phone was disconnected.
Police station in-charge Inspector Anand Veer Singh said that the number from which the call was made was switched off. Received the call once. The person who picked up the call told that he was sitting in a train to Chennai. A man had come, asking for help with his daughter. Had to call him on this. Later, he was receiving calls from people, so he switched off the phone. Two police teams have been deployed. The girl is being searched.
