In a panchayat held at Seyardevi Mata Mandir in Tundla of Firozabad district on Sunday, an order was issued to socially boycott the family who murdered a two-year-old innocent. The Panchas declared that such people have no place in society. Neither will anyone lease the fields of the accused family nor will anyone invite them to any function at their place.
Devendra alias Kalyan, a resident of village Thar Hathi of Thana Nagla Singhi, had his two-year-old innocent son Rupendra strangled to death by his own family members Barfi Devi, Ravi, Rocky and minor daughter over land dispute. After the victim’s family decided to leave the village, a panchayat was called in the premises of Mata Seer Devi temple at 10:30 am on Sunday. In the panchayat chaired by Mahant Baba Sevadas, the victim Devendra alias Kalyan Singh presented his pain before the panchayat. He said that in the previous incidents, some people had helped the accused, which boosted their morale. In the panchayat, former Pradhan Roman Singh proposed that no one would buy the property and livestock of the accused.
Besides this, he will not be invited for any social work. In the Panchayat, Panch social worker Devkaran Dilawar, Mahipal, Satyapal, Ramji Lal, Chhotelal and the villagers present said in one voice that all will help the victim’s family. Besides this, no one will buy or lease the land of the accused. The police will take a decision regarding the livestock. Chandan Singh, Geetam Singh Pradhan, Suresh Pradhan, JP Baba, Pratap Sarpanch, Sundar Singh, Roman Singh, Bhajanlal, Ved Singh, Diwan Singh, Subhash Mukhiya, Sadhu Singh Pradhan, Madho Singh, Roman Singh, etc were present in the Panchayat.
