Two youths died a painful death by drowning in a water filled pit in Begusarai. The deceased youths were identified as Dharmveer Kumar, 12 year old son of Balram Yadav, resident of Pipra Devas Baba Than Ward 7 of Barauni police station area and Nandan Kumar, 20 year old son of late Kapil Dev Yadav. Both are residents of the same place.

It is being told that Dharamveer Kumar was bathing his buffalo in a water filled pit. Then Dharamveer Kumar started drowning. Seeing him drowning, Nandan Kumar went to save him. While trying to save him, both Nandan and Dharamveer Kumar drowned. Seeing both the youths drowning, people tried their best to save them, but due to the deep water, they could not save both the youths and both died due to drowning.
However, after a lot of searching, people found the bodies of both the youths. At present, the local people informed the Barauni police station about this incident. The police of Barauni police station reached the spot, took the bodies of both the youths in their custody and sent them to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem and started further action.
Regarding this incident, the Barauli police station chief has said that two youths have died after drowning in a water-filled pit. At present, the police have sent the bodies to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. It is being told that the deceased Nandan Kumar was married on 11 July. After this death, the newly wed bride is in a bad state due to constant crying.
