UAE Hindu temple opens for general public from today BAPS administration releases schedule


UAE Hindu Temple: Common devotees will be able to visit the first Hindu temple built in UAE’s Abu Dhabi from today i.e. March 1. After the inauguration of the temple by PM Modi on February 14, only VIPs and foreign devotees who had pre-registered till February 29 were allowed to visit the temple. According to Gulf News, a large number of foreign devotees have been coming to visit the temple since its inauguration.

Sharing information on its official X handle, the temple administration said that UAE’s BAPS temple will be opened for general visitors on March 1 at 9 am. Common visitors will be able to visit the temple from 9 am to 8 pm. The temple will remain closed for common devotees on every Monday.

Land has been donated for the temple
About Rs 700 crore has been spent on the construction of this temple. The construction of the temple was going on since 2018, after the completion of the work in February 2024, the temple was inaugurated. According to the temple spokesperson, discussions regarding the construction of the temple had started in the year 2015 itself. In the year 2018, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of the temple. The Hindu temple of UAE has been built by Bochasan resident Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). The land for the temple has been donated by the President of the Arab Emirates. Around 65 thousand people gathered during the inauguration of the temple Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi Came to listen to.

UAE’s temple is built in Nagara style
18 lakh bricks and 1.8 lakh cubic meters of Rajasthan sandstone have been used in the construction of UAE Hindu Temple. Construction of a grand temple in Ayodhya Ram Mandir Like it has been done in Nagara style. 7 pinnacles have been built in this temple. Apart from the idols of gods and goddesses, the country’s national bird eagle and camels, which are called ships of the desert, have also been carved in the stones installed in the temple.
