UGC NET 2024 Exam Day Instructions: The National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET exam 2024 on June 18, two days from today. Admit cards have also been released for this exam. Candidates who have not downloaded the admit card yet for any reason should quickly go to the official website and download it. To do this, the address of the official website is – ugcnet.nta.nic.in. These tips will be useful for you

There will be many instructions related to the exam on the back of the UGC NET exam admit card. Read them carefully and follow them, otherwise you may face problems on the day of the exam. Also note down some useful tips.

  • Reach the centre before the reporting time given on the admit card. Take extra time while leaving home so that you do not get late even if you face any obstacle on the way.
  • If there is any problem in downloading the admit card or if there is any deficiency in it, then contact NTA in time. For this, either of these two websites can be used – ugcnet.nta.ac.in or ugcnet.ntaonline.in.
  • Apart from this you can also mail on this email – ugcnet@nta.ac.in. Apart from email, one can also contact on these phone numbers – 011 – 40759000.
  • The exam will be held in two shifts on June 18. The first shift will be from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.
  • Apart from the admit card, carry a passport size photograph with you which you will have to paste on the attendance sheet. Carry a copy of the photo which is on the admit card.
  • Along with this, keep a valid photo ID proof with you. If any other certificate like PWD etc. is applicable, then take that along as well.
  • Do not wear clothes that have too many buttons and too many pockets. Also, do not go to the center wearing shoes, neither heels nor shoes with thick soles.
  • Do not keep any valuable items like mobile phone, purse, electronic devices, expensive jewellery etc. with you.
  • Do not carry any kind of copy, book, notes or related material with you.
  • You cannot leave the examination hall until the paper is over and you must reach the centre at least half an hour before the start of the shift.
  • If you wear any special clothes like turban, hijab etc. then reach the center one to one and half hour before the checking time.
