NTA To Release UGC NET 2024 Notice Soon: A large number of candidates are waiting for the notice of UGC NET Exam 2024. A few days ago, NTA i.e. National Testing Agency has released the exam dates. Application form will be released soon

NTA has not yet given any official information in this regard, but according to media reports, the application link will be activated soon. The examination will be conducted in CBT mode and UGC NET Application Form and Notification PDF will be released soon on the website.

Exam will be held on these dates

According to the schedule released by NTA, UGC NET Exam 2024 will be conducted between 10 to 21 June 2024. The exam calendar was released on 19 September. The examination will be conducted for a total of 83 subjects.

Applications will be available for June exam

UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. The examination is conducted once in June and second time in December. Now applications will be accepted for June exam.

The exam pattern will be like this

There are two papers in this exam, Paper One and Paper Two. Paper one will be of 100 marks and paper two will be of 200 marks. Paper One has 50 questions of 100 marks and Paper Two has 100 questions of 200 marks. The questions of both the exams will be of two marks each. Paper one will be of one hour and paper two will be of two hours. There is no negative marking of any kind in the examination.

Who can apply

To apply, it is necessary that the candidate has obtained post graduation degree from a recognized university. Reserved category will be given 5 percent relaxation in educational qualification. Also note that candidates who have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) before June 1, 2002, do not have to appear for this exam. Age limit for UGC JRF is 30 years, there is no age limit for NET.
