What is the marking scheme
The UGC NET exam results and final answer key may be released together or it may also happen that the answer key is released first and then the results. If this happens, candidates can try to calculate the score from the final answer key.
If we talk about the marking scheme for this, it is something like this. You will get two marks for every correct answer. This time there is no negative marking, so marks will not be deducted for wrong answers. Neither marks will be awarded nor deducted for the questions which you have not attempted or left.
Only one option has to be chosen for every correct answer. If there are more than one correct answers for an answer, the candidate will be given the correct marks for the answer chosen by him/her. If a question is dropped after considering the objections, the candidate will get two marks for it.
