Police asked for 14 days remand of Atiq and Ashraf
The uproar of lawyers continues outside the court regarding Mafia Atiq. Atiq and Ashraf are present in the courtroom. Police has asked for 14 days remand of both.

Atiq and Ashraf have been taken to the court in the same van. This has been done due to security reasons. Police has reached Prayagraj CJM Court regarding Atiq and Ashraf. There will be a hearing in the court shortly.

B warrant was issued on March 23
Atiq Ahmed is the named accused in the Umesh Pal murder case. On March 23, the Dhumanganj police had got a B warrant made against him. After this the police team had also reached Sabarmati Jail but due to some reasons he could not be brought. However, now once again the process of bringing him to Prayagraj has been started.

Atiq’s ban was brought inside by opening the main gate of the jail. Atiq was brought down in front of the Senior Jail Superintendent’s office. The team of doctors already present here did his medical. After this he was taken to the barracks.

Apart from the captive guards posted in the barracks for security, only senior officers are allowed to go. Prisoner guards equipped with bodybarn cameras are posted at the gate with barracks additional cameras. After the issuance of B warrant in the Umesh Pal murder case, the police will present Mafia Atiq and Ashraf in the court on Thursday and seek their remand for questioning.

Umesh Pal Murder Case: Uproar of lawyers outside the court regarding Mafia Atiq, debate continues in the court
Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf will be presented in the court today in the Umesh Pal murder case. Officers have started reaching Naini Jail. Security has been tightened from jail to court. Heavy force has been deployed in the court premises.
Naini- Atiq-Ashraf brought to Central Jail amid tight security
After getting V warrant in Umesh Pal murder case, Prayagraj police on Wednesday reached Central Jail Naini with mafia Atiq Ahmed from Sabarmati Jail and his brother Ashraf from Bareilly Jail. Atiq and Ashraf were kept in separate barracks in Naini Jail. Mafia Atiq’s son Ali is also lodged in this jail.
