The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has launched an internship program for students and recently graduate candidates. Interested candidates can see eligibility, duration, information of posts and other necessary details.
Who can apply?
- Candidates who are enrolled in a graduate program (master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent) can apply.
- Recently (within the last 12 months), candidates who have completed master’s degree or PhD are also eligible.
- The minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years.
- Those who have completed only Bachelor degrees, but are not enrolled in a graduate program, they cannot apply.
- Candidates who are applying for a secretary/technical or professional assignment should be in the last year from a secretary school or technical institute or should be graduated recently.
Duration of internship
- Minimum period: 1 month
- Maximum period: 6 months
Stipend
Unsco does not provide any kind of salary or economic benefit to candidates who have been internship.
Important instructions
- All the students applying have to ensure that their contact details remain valid for 6 months.
- The application form can be filled in English or French.
- If your documents are not in English or French, it will be necessary to provide their informal translation.
- The team will not answer every candidate personally. If you are selected, the manager will contact you directly. If there is no answer for 6 months, it would mean that you have not been selected.
