Toll Tax Rules: If you are driving a four wheeler on a wide and pothole free road, and this road is a highway or expressway, then you will have to pay toll tax for travelling on it. This is a rule from the government.
But there are many rules related to toll plazas which not everyone knows. Due to lack of knowledge of the rules, many times the vehicle riders get cheated and this cheating becomes heavy on their pocket. In such a situation, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari himself came on a podcast and said a few things about toll rules in which he told about a 10-second rule at the toll plaza which no one knows.
What did the Union Minister say about the 10-second rule at toll plazas?
Recently, Nitin Gadkari appeared on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast show, where the host asked him many questions about road safety and toll. The Union Minister answered these questions very comfortably and told people about the road and toll rules. When he was asked if you can go free if it takes more than 10 seconds at the toll, Gadkari said that this is the rule, if it takes more than 10 seconds for the money to be deducted at the toll booth, then the toll will be free for you, and you will pass from there without paying the toll. However, many people are not aware of this rule.
Question- As per the rules, toll is waived if you wait for more than 10 seconds at the toll booth or if there is a queue of 100 meters. But why do the toll workers behave like hooligans when you demand your rights?

What is the 10 second toll tax rule
When Nitin Gadkari was asked about the 10-second rule, that despite the rule, toll workers get into a fight because you have given the contract to private companies, what will you say on this? On this, Nitin Gadkari did not say anything and just said that this is the rule and it should be implemented. Apart from this, Gadkari also expressed his opinion on many other issues related to the road.

You might not even know this rule
Apart from the 10-second rule, there is another rule which not everyone knows. The rule is that even if there is a queue of more than 100 meters at the toll booth, the toll will be free for the drivers and they can pass through there without paying the toll. The toll workers come in the way of all this, who get into fights, but the minister did not say much about this. However, Gadkari said that he is making new plans keeping all these problems in mind.
