Railways and Roadways have made preparations for the convenience of devotees going to Prayagraj Mahakumbh on February 2 and 3 for the royal bath on Vasant Panchami in Mahakumbh. Northern Railway Lucknow Division will run 20 Kumbh Mela Special trains, while Transport Corporation will operate 670 buses from different bus bases of Lucknow and 8200 buses from across the state for Prayagraj.

Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari of Lucknow division informed that trains will be operated from Phaphamau on Vasant Panchami. Trains will not go to Prayagraj. This has been done in terms of security. The schedule of some trains will also be changed.

The sight will be kept from the command center

Railway officers will also keep an eye on Varanasi and Ayodhya from the command center in Prayagraj. Crowd management is helping. An in -charge has been deployed everywhere. Passengers are being monitored from outside the station premises, reaching the circulating area, FOB, platforms etc. Apart from this, GRP-RPF, bomb disposal squad and dog squads are working with full vigilance for security.

Chief Minister gave instructions from zero error regarding bathing

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the arrangements to keep the arrangements ‘zero error’ on the occasion of Amrit bathing festival ‘Basant Panchami’. Reviewing the preparations for Basant Panchami in Prayagraj on Saturday, he directed that the traditional procession of the revered akhadas will come out with pomp on the occasion of Basant Panchami, all the necessary preparations should be made in time. Be it revered saints, Kalpavasi, devotees from all over the country or domestic tourists, safety and convenience of each one should be ensured. There should be a strong action plan at every point, the route and time of the procession or the way of movement of normal bathing people. There should be no scope for lapse at any level.

In a meeting held in the ICCC Auditorium of the Mela Authority, the Chief Minister said that the parking space should be increased and such arrangements should be made that the devotees coming to the Sangam bath have to run at least. He also directed that the responsibility of traffic system should be ensured to SP level officers at important sites. The Chief Minister said that the country and the world are praising the arrangements of Mahakumbh and its grandeur. Everyone is eager to come to Prayagraj Sangam. Everyone has to contribute for this sentiment to remain continuously.
