Expansion
After the Lok Sabha elections, preparations for a new change in the Congress have begun. The party will increase the participation of backward, Dalit and minority communities along with active youth in the party organization. District presidents and other officials of many districts will also be changed.
The state leadership, excited by the election results, will run continuous campaigns on issues related to the public. The party’s strategy is that whatever issues are raised in the Parliament, there should be agitations on the streets as well. With this strategy, it wants to play an active role of opposition in the state. For this, the party is eyeing such youth who can run continuous agitations on issues of public interest.
Under this strategy, there are preparations to change many district presidents of the party. The district president of Ambedkar Nagar has been expelled recently for anti-party activities. Similarly, many other district presidents are on the target. They are accused of increasing factionalism in the districts.
