Investigation has begun into the case of the death of a young man during treatment in the emergency ward of Maharshi Devraha Baba Autonomous State Medical College in Deoria. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has summoned the investigation report from the college administration. Along with this, he has also directed to investigate and submit a report on the case of running a nursing home without a medical degree in Jhinjhak, Kanpur Dehat.

The health of Adarsh Jaiswal (18), a resident of Baikunthpur in Bariyarpur, Deoria, suddenly deteriorated. The family took the young man to the emergency ward of Maharishi Devraha Baba Autonomous State Medical College. The family alleged that it took 45 minutes to get registered. The family alleged that the young man died due to lack of timely treatment.
On receiving information about the incident, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak inquired about the entire matter from the Principal of the college. He directed to submit the investigation report. He warned that strict action will be taken against the health worker found guilty in the investigation. Similarly, the Deputy Chief Minister has also directed to investigate the case of running a nursing home without a degree in Jhinjhak of Kanpur countryside. He has directed the Chief Medical Officer to investigate the matter and take action against the accused and send the investigation report.
