On Tuesday night, four car-borne miscreants committed a major incident on Agra’s Fatehabad Road. In Bansal Nagar of Tajganj, miscreants shot the operator Rachit Kwatra outside the money exchange and looted foreign currency worth Rs 17 lakh. Police checked on the information. But, the miscreants could not be caught. Late night the police were scanning the footage of the CCTV cameras. The condition of the injured remains critical. The incident in the safe area has raised questions on the activism of the police.

Manish Sharma and Rachit Kwatra have money exchange by the name of JR Forex Solution Pvt Ltd in Bansal Nagar opposite Howard Park Plaza on Fatehabad Road. Manish Sharma told that at around eight in the night he was going home after closing the office. Rachit came out of the office first. He was inside. Then four miscreants came in a white Swift car. He first tried to hit Rachit. But, they climbed the pavement from the road. After this the miscreants stopped the car. Three of them came out, while the fourth was driving. He kept starting the car. The three miscreants who came out had pistols in their hands.

Did not leave the bag then shot
A miscreant came near Rachit and tried to rob him of the bag in his hand. But, Rachit caught hold of the bag. On this the other miscreant tried to catch him. There was a tussle between them. Seeing this, the third miscreant shot Rachit in the chest with a pistol, which passed through his chest. He fell on the ground. The miscreants fled in the car after looting the bag. Manish ran after hearing the sound of gunshot. He took Rachit to the hospital located in Shaheed Nagar. Police reached on information. The police got the checking done, but the miscreants were not found. Manish told that the bag had dollar, euro, yen, diram currency. Its cost is around 16-17 lakh rupees.

DCP City Vikas Kumar told that there was a robbery incident outside the money exchange. The miscreants shot and looted foreign currency. Teams have been set up. Footage of CCTV cameras is being viewed. The event will be unveiled soon.
