The state government is going to make big preparations to promote cow products. If all goes well, soon all the government buildings in the state will be gleaming with paint made from cow dung. The exercise has started for this. In many districts, women have started making paint from cattle. The Animal Husbandry Department is preparing to train people for this so that this paint can be made in all the districts.
At present, the government is working seriously for the abandoned cattle. Cow shelters have also been made for them, in which more than 11 lakh animals have been kept. Along with this, efforts are being made to prepare such products through cattle, which can generate income. Production of paint from cow dung is a part of this link. This work started at the Cow Conservation Center in Badaun and Pratapgarh, after which work is now being carried out in many districts.

On the other hand, Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh has asked to prepare a proposal in this regard. Devendra Pandey, Special Secretary, Animal Husbandry Department, has gone to these districts to study it and has submitted a complete report. The preparation is to start this work on a large scale. After this, arrangements will be made that paint made from cow dung will be used in all government buildings. This decision will give a boost to the groups making paint from cow dung across the state.
cheap and good too
This paint is much cheaper than other companies. While the average price of other paints is Rs 400 to 500 per litre, this one costs around Rs 200 per litre. Also it is durable. This does not cause any harm to the environment. It is eco friendly, anti bacterial, anti fungal, natural thermal insulator. A lot of cow dung is not required to make paint. 100 liters of paint is being prepared from 50 kg cow dung.
