Devotees going to Haridwar from Delhi for bathing on Jyeshtha Dussehra were deboarded at Gajraula railway station. The railway says that they were travelling in the AC coach despite having general tickets. When they were deboarded, they called 112 for help.

They also appealed to the station master. The pilgrims created a ruckus from 3 am to 6:30 am for help. They accused the chief ticket inspector and a woman RPF constable of misbehaving.

Rachna Gupta, resident of Rohini, Delhi, Lalita, resident of Karnal Road, her daughter Komal, Sunil, Neetu Mishra say that about 50 passengers including them boarded the Mussoorie Express train to go to Haridwar on Saturday night. Everyone was going to take a bath in the Ganga in Haridwar on Jyeshtha Dussehra.

They had general tickets. Due to overcrowding in the train, they entered the AC coach. When they did not get space inside, some sat on the gate. Some took shelter in the toilet and travelled. On reaching Gajraula railway station, the chief ticket inspector asked them to pay for travelling in the AC coach.

When they did not pay the money, they were made to get down. Everyone also accused the chief ticket inspector of misbehaving. Seeing the uproar increasing, some of their companions were sent by another train. They asked for arrangements to be made for their sending. They also pleaded with the station master.

They called 112 but no one listened. Meanwhile, a woman constable of RPF misbehaved with them. There was a ruckus several times from 3 am to 7 am. Somehow people pacified them by explaining. They complained to the station master about the chief ticket inspector.

At 7 am, they were sent to Laksar by Lucknow Chandigarh Express. RPF Inspector Mayank Chaudhary says that the allegations against the RPF woman constable are baseless. The women among the passengers were abusing. Even after this, he explained to them with patience. He sent them off by boarding another train.

Special train stopped after seeing passengers creating ruckus

After being deboarded from Mussoorie Express, the passengers created a ruckus at the station. They were so angry that they were not listening to anyone. They created a ruckus and said that due to being deboarded here, they will not be able to take a bath in the Ganga on Jyeshtha Dussehra.

After creating a ruckus at the booking counter, they reached the panel. They started creating a ruckus here too. They also had an altercation with the station master. Seeing their anger and ruckus increasing, the station master informed the higher officials.

The station master was told to somehow send them off by boarding another train, but no train was passing at that time. The problem arose as to which train they should be sent by. The special train going to Tanakpur was stopped by calling the control, even though it does not have a halt at Gajraula.

Despite having general tickets, passengers entered the AC coach. On the complaint of those who had reservations, the TTE got the coach vacated.
