The UP Police constable recruitment exam started on Friday. The exam is being conducted at 29 centers in Bareilly. Candidates started coming to Bareilly from Thursday night for the first day’s exam. Candidates kept arriving in the city till late night. Candidates of the first shift started reaching the centers from 7 am. Entry of candidates started from 7:30 am. Candidates were given entry after a thorough search. The gates of the centers were closed at 9:30 am. Strict security arrangements have been made for the constable recruitment exam. The first shift exam was held from 10 am to 12 noon. The second shift exam started at 3 pm.
All the 29 centers of the district have been divided into five zones. A zonal magistrate has been deployed in each zone. Apart from this, a sector and a static magistrate have been deployed at each examination center. Drone cameras are being used to monitor sensitive examination centers. Cyber cafes and photo state shops will remain closed around the examination centers on the dates when the examination will be held. The DM has ordered monitoring of cyber cafes and photo state shops.
