The solver gang caught in the constable recruitment exam has deep roots. Constable Shri Bhagwan posted in PAC Aligarh, who was giving the exam, had come in place of his friend’s brother Gajendra Singh to help him pass. The helping constable friend and the original candidate caught outside the centre are all from the same district. The police is investigating what was the transaction done to help him pass the exam.
The constable recruitment exam is being held at seven centres in the district. 2928 candidates have been allotted per shift. In the male category, there are candidates from Rajasthan and Bihar as well. In the girl category, there are candidates from nearby districts. The police department has claimed to have made extensive arrangements for the exam. A three-tier checking has been arranged at each centre. A team of one ASP, three COs and 16 inspectors has been deputed. Monitoring is also being done through CCTV. Amidst all this, the police made it public on Sunday, 24 hours after arresting two members of the solver gang in MPP Inter College at Veer Vinay Chauraha in the city on Saturday.
Investigation revealed that constable Shri Bhagwan, resident of Khudila police station Rajkheda district Dholpur Rajasthan, posted in Aligarh PAC 45th battalion, had come to take the exam in place of his friend’s brother Gajendra Singh to help him pass. Constable Govind Singh posted in Mathura SSF was also with him. Now the police is trying to find out who all are involved in this racket. ASP Namrita Shrivastava says that action is being taken on the basis of information received from the two arrested accused. CO City has been entrusted with the investigation of the entire case.
Why was the police silent for 24 hours?
The police, which gives briefings as soon as every incident is exposed, suppressed this matter for 24 hours. The information was given after presenting the accused in the court. At first the police officers kept avoiding saying anything in this matter. Even the police did not release the photos of the saviors.
Solvers have been caught earlier also
In the police recruitment examination held in February 2024, 11 solvers were arrested from various examination centers of the district. Surendra Singh, a resident of Madhubani, Bihar, in place of Hemant Kumar, a resident of Diyadhar in Salempur police station area of Deoria, Ramlakhan, a resident of Dharwahi Laukahi in Madhubani, in place of Anil Kumar, a candidate resident of Pipra Bhuli in Barhaj, Deoria, Sikandar, a resident of Dharwahi in Laukahi police station area of Madhubani, in place of Arvind, a resident of Karjahan in Barhaj police station area of Deoria, Rajan Prasad, a resident of Madhav in Munger Harpur police station area of Bihar, in place of Suraj Prasad and Kundan Yadav, a resident of Triveniganj, Bihar, in place of Sanjay, a resident of Tikaur Mohammadpur in Deoria, were caught taking the exam.
