To improve the power supply system in various districts of the state including Lucknow, Power Corporation Chairman Dr. Ashish Goyal held a meeting on Thursday and gave necessary instructions. He said that wherever there is a power outage, consumers, public representatives and media should be informed about the reasons for the power outage. How much time will it take to restore power. This should also be informed on 1912. If needed, announcements should also be made through loudspeakers. Senior officials should cooperate with local personnel.
Officers should visit at night and replace the transformer immediately
Goyal instructed all the officers to replace the damaged transformers in the shortest possible time. For this, the vehicles used to replace the transformers should be ready in the workshop. All the necessary equipment should also be present on them. So that if the transformer is damaged, another transformer can be brought there in the shortest possible time. There should be no shortage of trolley transformers and gangs anywhere. He told that the officers should stay in their respective areas till night, pick up the phone and give correct information to the consumers.
Additional Chief Secretary of Energy Department Mahesh Kumar Gupta says that a record supply of more than 29200 MW is being made in the state. This year the heat is intense. In such a situation, faults are also occurring in the equipment related to the supply. Keeping in view the interests of consumers, the upgradation work has been stopped. The entire team has been put on alert.
Wherever faults are occurring due to load, they are being repaired immediately. Consumers are appealed to be patient. Wherever a problem arises, inform immediately, so that the concerned area team can reach the spot and resolve the problem. Instead of protesting anywhere, cooperate. So that the problem can be resolved as soon as possible. Senior officials have also been instructed to remain in the field continuously.
