A big announcement has been made by the Uttar Pradesh government for the devotees for the Mahakumbh to be held in January next year. Let us tell you that this decision of the government will remain in effect till the entire Mahakumbh. That means for 45 days, every devotee will come to Prayagraj to participate in the Mahakumbh. Toll will have to be paid on these vehicles
The Uttar Pradesh government has made toll tax free for the devotees coming to Mahakumbh. Officials organizing the Maha Kumbh Mela say that about 55 percent of the devotees will come in their own vehicles. That is why toll free has been made for Mahakumbh. Let us tell you that in the year 2019, when Kumbh Milga was organized. Even then toll was made free. Toll tax will not be collected from any kind of private or commercial vehicle like jeep or car during Mahakumbh. But during this period, toll tax will be collected from heavy commercial vehicles.
