With the Lok Sabha elections over, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has started preparing for its annual programs. In this series, a four-day meeting of the officials of the four provinces of the eastern region began here on Wednesday. In this, preparations for celebrating the centenary year of the Sangh to mark its 100th year of establishment next year were discussed along with the Gurudakshina program. In the meeting, along with the expansion of branches, there was also a discussion on increasing penetration among Dalits and backward classes.

The first day’s meeting held at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Nirala Nagar of the capital was chaired by Sangh’s All India Publicity Chief Swant Ranjan. He said that all the officials should start preparing for the Sangh’s Gurudakshina programs starting from September. The focus will have to be on the expansion of the Sangh Parivar throughout the year.

He also discussed the programs to be organized by the Sangh Parivar during the centenary year. He said that special efforts are needed to expand the Sangh’s branches and increase the number of preachers. Also, a lot of work needs to be done to create a strong foothold among the Dalits and backward classes by increasing social harmony. Suggestions were also taken from regional officials in the meeting. On the first day of the meeting, regional officials of the Sangh’s eastern region’s Awadh, Kashi, Gorakh and Kanpur provinces were present.

Dattatreya Hosabale’s address today

On his first visit after the Lok Sabha elections, General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale reached Lucknow on Wednesday evening. However, he did not attend the first day’s meeting. According to sources, the General Secretary will address regional, department and district campaigners on Thursday. Sources say that after the conclusion of the meeting, there will also be a coordination meeting with the BJP and the government. Dattatreya Hosabale may also attend it.
