The effect of CM Yogi’s instructions to take strict action against those who grab and occupy land has started to show. On Wednesday, the government suspended Sirsaganj SDM Vivek Rajput, Naib Tehsildar Naveen Kumar, Revenue Inspector Mukesh Kumar Singh, Lekhpal Abhilash Singh and SDM’s Peshkar Pramod Shakya in the case of grabbing land worth crores in Firozabad.
Along with filing a case against all of them, orders have also been given by the Vigilance to investigate their acquisition of assets disproportionate to their income. All the suspended officers are accused of getting land for their relatives by issuing suspicious orders.
Let us tell you that Yogendra of Rudhani village of Sirsaganj had complained to the DM. According to this, a dispute over his 75 bigha land was going on with the Tehsildar Sirsaganj. On filing the copy question on 12 June 2024, he came to know that the Tehsil had already given a decision in favor of the other party on 7 June.
Along with mentioning the names of the people of the other party in the Fard, on June 12, 75 bighas of land worth crores of rupees was also registered in eight different names. There is collusion of SDM Sirsaganj, Naib Tehsildar, Lekhpal, Revenue Inspector and Peshkar in this. After this, a four-member investigation team was formed under the chairmanship of CDO, in which the allegations were found to be true. After which action has been taken by the government.
