However, in the 2022 by-election, SP got 64.08 percent votes here. In this way, SP’s vote bank has increased in the general elections. Politically, there is a conflict between Katheria vs Dohre community in Etawah. BJP gave a chance to MP Ramshankar Katheria again, while SP bet on Jitendra Singh Dohre, who came from BSP, and won the election by about 58 thousand votes. Here SP got 47 and BJP got 41.82 percent votes. In the year 2019, SP got 44.53 and BJP got 50.80 percent votes.

Similarly, in Kannauj, SP President Akhilesh Yadav won by 1.70 lakh votes. He got 52.74 percent votes and BJP’s outgoing MP Subrat Pathak got 38.71 percent votes. In the year 2019, BJP got 49.37 and SP got 48.29 percent votes. In Firozabad, SP’s Akshay Pratap Yadav defeated BJP candidate Vishwadeep Singh by about 89 thousand votes. Here BJP had cut the ticket of MP Chandrasen Jadon. In such a situation, SP also got the benefit of infighting here.

SP got 49.09 per cent votes and BJP got 40.98 per cent. In 2019, SP got 43.41 per cent votes and BJP got 46.09 per cent votes. In Etah, Rajveer Singh Raju was defeated by SP’s Devesh Shakya by about 25 thousand votes. Here SP got 47.07 per cent votes and BJP got 44.34 per cent votes, whereas in 2019 BJP got 54.52 per cent votes and SP got 42.25 per cent votes.

Farrukhabad hit a hat-trick

Mukesh Rajput has been elected MP for the third time by winning 2678 votes from Farrukhabad. He got 47.2 percent votes and SP’s Dr. Naval Kishore Shakya got 46.94 percent votes. In the year 2019, BJP got 56.82 and BSP got 34.72 percent and Congress got 5.72 percent votes. BSP’s Manoj Agarwal was with SP in this election.
