Amidst the ongoing violent protests in Bangladesh, three sisters from Harthala Colony who were studying there have returned home safely. The MBBS students said that they are still scared remembering the situation there. The biggest worry was that they were not able to talk to their family members due to the internet shutdown.

We had exams from 20th July and were in class on 19th July. Meanwhile, the news came that the protests had started. Then the message of closing the college came. Because of this, our exams were also postponed. From the college, we reached our hostel.

Then we stayed in the hostel for five days. There was no problem of food and drink there. The hostel was safe, but we could not go out. Due to internet shutdown, we were not able to contact our home.
