The first cabinet expansion of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Government 2.0 will take place at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday at 5 pm. SubhaSP President Omprakash Rajbhar, BJP MLA Dara Singh Chauhan and one to two RLD MLAs can take oath as ministers.
According to sources, Governor Anandi Ben Patel is returning to Lucknow on Tuesday evening. After his return to Lucknow, a swearing-in ceremony is proposed at Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and government ministers will be present.
Proposal to increase the food allowance of Home Guard volunteers four times
The food allowance of Home Guard volunteers may be increased four times in the cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday. At present Home Guard volunteers get food allowance of Rs 30 per duty allowance during inter-district movement. This allowance is inadequate in the face of rising inflation. Because of this, the Home Guard Department has proposed to increase it to Rs 120. It will be presented before the cabinet for approval.
One time settlement scheme will come in excise department
The Excise Department is preparing to bring a one-time settlement scheme to recover its dues. Its proposal will be presented in the cabinet on Tuesday. Let us tell you that the Excise Department has outstanding of about Rs 43 crore since the year 1956. These include many retail traders who have not paid the dues to the department.
