UPI One World Wallet Service: There has been a rapid change in digital payments in the country in the last few years. New facilities and apps are being launched every day. It has been named ‘UPI One World’ Wallet.

This service was introduced recently. This special facility will be of great help to the travelers coming to India from all over the world. ‘UPI One World’ wallet has been launched to make travel easier and promote real-time digital payment. Let us tell you that UPI One World wallet was first introduced during the G20 summit organized by India last year.

Foreigners will get help

The UPI ‘One World’ wallet facility will be available to people coming from other countries. People coming from abroad will be able to use it for a special experience of the facility of ‘Made in India’ technology. The biggest advantage of this feature is that users will not need to keep cash. That means they will be able to make online payments. Even the problem of foreign currency transactions will be solved by using this wallet.

Announcing the service in a post, NPCI said, “Travellers coming to India will be able to make secure digital payments with UPI One World Wallet. Not only this, they will be able to transact with merchants and vendors across the country. This service will relieve the passengers from the hassle of carrying large amounts of cash or multiple foreign currency transactions.”

How can you use it

With this wallet service, foreign travellers and NRIs will be able to download the Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI)-UPI app. After this, users will be able to download the QR code of any merchant using their smartphone camera and make payments.
