Students of Aligarh Muslim University, who failed in class 12th, created ruckus by shutting down Baba Syed. Slogans were raised against the school administration. He has accused the teachers and principals of the schools of failing and reducing marks.
The Controller of Examinations declared the results of class 12th late evening on 15th May. Seeing the results, there was a wave of happiness among the students while some became sad and dejected. The students who failed or got less marks started creating ruckus and sloganeering against Baba Syed. AMU student leaders also joined him. Students of STS High School, AMU City School shut down Baba Syed. He also had an altercation with members of his proctorial team. The Principal of the Senior Secondary School also arrived on the news of the uproar by the students. The students have submitted a memorandum to him demanding re-checking of the copies.
Student leader Naved Chaudhary, who came in support of the school students, said that some class 12 students are upset because they were failed and the marks of some have been reduced. Said, the school administration and teachers have tried to suppress the voice of the students. Because he raises his voice against their decision. To take revenge from them, they are given failure or less marks. Playing with the future of students will not be allowed.
Students told that a student was bitten by a snake in Allama Iqbal Hall. Students had demonstrated against him. The school administration was angry with that. Student leader Zaid Sherwani said that injustice will not be allowed to the students. He questions the school administration as to why students have been given less marks. Copies should be checked again. Action should be taken against the culprits. On the other hand, Baba Syed was talking to the members of the proctorial team when the four-wheeler rider started blowing the horn continuously. Angered by this, the students reached the car driver and surrounded the car. The car rider introduced himself as a doctor from the medical college. Still he was not allowed inside Baba Syed. He had to change his route.
