UPSC CDS and NDA 1 registration deadline extended, you can apply till this time


Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date of registration for Combined Defense Services (CDS)-1 and National Defense Academy (NDA)-1 examination 2025. Now interested and eligible candidates can apply today till 1 January 2025 till 6 pm. The application process can be completed through the official website of UPSC upsconline.gov.in. Candidates can apply for this through the steps given here.

Earlier the last date of application was set as 31 December 2024 but due to technical problems it has been extended by one day. The official notice of UPSC states that due to some technical reasons, the last date of application for NDA and CDS-1 Exam 2025 has been extended till 01.01.2025 (Wednesday) at 6 pm.

Exam Date and Vacancies

  • UPSC CDS-1 and NDA-1 exam will be conducted on 13 April 2025.

  • CDS 1 Recruitment Drive: Will be conducted for appointment to a total of 457 posts.

  • NDA 1 Recruitment Drive: Will be organized for appointment to a total of 406 posts.

Opportunity to amend the application

Candidates have also been given a chance to improve the application by UPSC. The window for making changes in the application form will be open from January 1 to January 7, 2025. How to apply?

  • Step 1: First of all candidates go to the official website of UPSC upsconline.gov.in.

  • Step 2: After this the candidates will be available on the homepage UPSC Click on CDS/NDA 1 Application Form link.

  • Step 3: Then the candidates fill the required information and upload the required documents.

  • Step 4: After this the candidates pay the application fee.

  • Step 5: Then candidates submit the application form.

  • Step 6: Now candidates download the application form.

  • Step 7: Finally, candidates should take a print out of the application form.
