IAS Ankita Choudhary Success Story: She lost her mother in a road accident, after which she broke down badly. After her mother’s death, life seemed difficult. She could not understand how to study further. In such a situation, the father encouraged his daughter. After which the daughter once again started preparing for the UPSC exam and this time she also cracked the exam. This is the story of IAS officer Ankita Chaudhary, who got a brilliant rank in the year 2018.

IAS Ankita Choudhary comes from a simple family of Meham in Rohtak district of Haryana, where she faced the challenges of life with determination. Ankita’s father was an accountant in a sugar mill. Her mother was a homemaker. Ankita was very intelligent in studies from the beginning. After completing her schooling, Ankita took admission in Hindu College of Delhi University. From where she graduated in Chemistry. She dreamed of becoming an IAS officer since childhood.

Failure in first attempt

To fulfill her dream, Ankita started preparing for UPSC. She gave her first attempt in the year 2017 in which she failed. But despite this failure, Ankita did not give up and continued preparing. But when she was preparing for the second attempt, an incident happened in her life which Ankita had never imagined.

Got 14th rank in the second attempt

Ankita Chaudhary lost her mother in an accident. Due to which she was badly broken. But at this time her father encouraged her daughter and motivated her to take the exam. In her next attempt in the year 2018, Ankita secured 14th rank on the basis of her hard work and ability.

What advice was given to the candidates?

IAS Ankita Chaudhary advises the candidates preparing for the UPSC exam that a person can be from any background. But for success, the candidate needs a solid strategy and hard work. Candidates should look at failures as learning opportunities and work to improve them for the next attempt. To crack the exam, the candidate should practice answer writing.
