Regular operation of Dehradun-Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will start from March 26. Booking of tickets for this semi high speed train has also been started by updating it on the railway website, mobile app and PRS (Public Reservation System) on Sunday. This train will complete the 590 km journey between Dehradun-Lucknow in 8:10 hours.
On the first day on Sunday, more tickets were sold from Bareilly to Lucknow, Haridwar and Dehradun. Seats are available in both classes of the train from 26 to 31 March. 22545/22546 Dehradun-Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat will operate six days a week except Monday. Chief Commercial Inspector Rakesh Singh said that passengers can get tickets for travel in Vande Bharat Express both online and offline.
Rent will be higher but time will be saved
The fare from Dehradun to Lucknow in AC chair car of Vande Bharat Express is Rs 1,480. For travel between Dehradun-Lucknow in executive class, you will have to pay Rs 2,715. The fare for traveling in AC chair car between Bareilly-Lucknow will be Rs 910 and Rs 1,585 in executive class. Bareilly-Dehradun fare will be Rs 1,015 and 1,800, Bareilly-Haridwar fare will be Rs 840 and Rs 1,555, Bareilly-Moradabad fare will be Rs 455 and Rs 840 in executive class.
