These have been occupied by people for the last many years. Their price will be around Rs 600 crore. The Municipal Corporation is busy strengthening its land bank. Encroachment has been removed from some lands and pillars have been installed there. At some places, the corporation has made its own board and cordon and declared it completely as its property.

Recently, a survey of 86 villages included in the urban limits was conducted. During this survey, about 79 villages were found where more than 1300 bighas of government land was under occupation. Due to the dominance of Gram Sabha for a long time, people had arbitrarily taken possession of it.
