Fog was seen from city to village in Varanasi district on Saturday morning. After this, the day was sunny but due to high humidity in the air, people did not get respite from the cold. This week the minimum temperature reached 5.7 degrees Celsius for the first time in 10 years. Meanwhile, on Saturday, there was no respite from the cold due to the humidity being higher in the air during the day compared to other days. Fog started appearing from 10 o’clock in the night.

Meanwhile, the temperature has also fluctuated rapidly. The maximum temperature, which was 15.8 degrees Celsius on Friday, reached 14.8 degrees Celsius, 6.1 degrees below the average on Saturday. The minimum temperature recorded was 9.8.

BHU meteorologist Prof. Rajiv Bhatla said that the effect of another western disturbance will be seen. Because of this, the effect of cold will also increase in a day or two. Cold wave may also start.
